The core of promoting the growth of residents' disposable income lies in correctly handling the relationship between wealth creation and fair distribution. In the development stage of getting rich, China adopts the development principle of efficiency first, balancing fairness in order to pursue rapid growth of the national economy. Along with the general increase in the income of the entire population, problems such as the increase in the Gini coefficient and the widening income gaps between regional and urban-rural residents have also emerged. Especially after entering the 21st century, the difficulty of balancing fairness has become increasingly prominent, even affecting the further improvement of economic development efficiency.
At present, the development of productivity in our country is still in the primary stage of socialism, and the problem of unbalanced and insufficient development is still prominent. There is a large gap in development level and income distribution between urban and rural areas and regions. This reality determines that promoting the growth of residents' disposable income cannot rely solely on mandatory secondary distribution dominated by taxation, but must be combined with tax measures from the production end.
We need to use dynamic and interconnected methodologies to achieve the balance between wealth creation and fair distribution. In the short term, it mainly manifests as the demand for boosting the economy and stabilizing growth. In the long run, it is reflected in the demand for transforming the growth mode and promoting economic transformation.
