Abstract: The Chinese-style new industrialization not only has the general law of world industrialization, but also has the characteristics of intelligence, greening and integration in the era of a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, as well as the national characteristics of parallel development under the overall situation of Chinese path to modernization. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, China has made significant progress in the construction of new industrialization, but it is still in the transitional stage from the late industrialization to the post-industrialization period. Facing the 15th Five-Year Plan, promoting new industrialization requires fully implementing the new development concept and integrating the requirements of high-quality development throughout the entire process. It focuses on five major tasks, which are promoting the integration of technological and industrial innovation, coordinating the regional development, strengthening green and low-carbon transformation, implementing high-level opening-up, and improving the income distribution mechanism. However, at the same time, promoting new industrialization during the 15th Five-Year Plan period also faces potential challenges such as accelerated global industrial chain restructuring, poor operation of local innovation chains, prominent structural talent contradictions, tightening constraints on resources and environment, and strong dependence on traditional paths. To this end, it is necessary to adhere to a systematic approach and strategic thinking, and establish a practical path for promoting new industrialization during the 15th Five-Year Plan period from the aspects of innovation system, industrial coordination, green incentives, open transformation, as well as joint construction and sharing.
