This paper believes that the miracle of China's economic development can not be created without Chinese economy, which is rooted in China, tells Chinese stories, and studies China's economic laws. It also introduces the research scope and content of Chinese economy. To assume the basic role of all disciplines of Chinese economics, socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics needs to do a good job in the following four aspects.
First, the goal is to develop productive forces, improve people's well-being, and achieve common prosperity and all-round development of people.
Second, the research objects include production relations and productivity.
Third, the research task is mainly to solve the development problem of the transformation of the main social contradiction, especially the path to achieve high-quality development for unbalanced and insufficient development research.
Fourth, magnify the guiding function of providing basic economic theories and applying the principles of political economy to provide theoretical guidance for the country's economic decision-making, economic development, and economic reform.
