In recent years, the traditional pattern of international division of labor is being torn apart and destroyed by the so-called reverse integration trend dominated by values and security concepts. The global supply chain, industrial chain and value chain system have been seriously impacted. The epidemic and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine are bound to trigger major changes in the international political and economic situation.

This paper first analyzes the impact of COVID-19 and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine on the global division of labor, summarizes the following four points and analyzes them:

1. Countries around the world, especially developed countries, pay more attention to their own supply chain security

2. Multinational enterprises are forced to change their investment logic and regional layout in the global market

3. Traditional manufacturing industry and high-end manufacturing industry will follow completely different principles of international division of labor

4. The dependence of international financial capital on the manufacturing real economy has further increased

Then, this paper puts forward specific countermeasures for China to deal with the adjustment of the global division of labor, and explains it from the following four perspectives:

1. Strengthen cross-cultural communication and value recognition, seek common ground while reserving differences, and build a new order of international cooperation

2. Strengthen the awareness of concessions in international and regional multilateral consultation mechanisms, and win trust and support with a more open mind

3. Use the construction of a unified domestic market to accelerate the high-end and modernization of the manufacturing industry

4. Accelerate the reform of the currency and financial market, and continuously enhance the international currency status of the RMB in the global competition
