A national park is a specific land or marine area whose main purpose is to protect a large area of natural ecosystems with national representation and to realize the scientific protection and rational utilization of natural resources. The establishment of Coastal Wetland National Park can effectively form a wetland protection and management system together with wetland nature reserve, wetland wildlife protection habitat and wetland multi-purpose management area. It is a direct and effective way to maintain and expand the wetland protection area. It is of great significance to improve the regional ecological situation, promote sustainable economic and social development, and achieve the harmonious coexistence of man and nature.
This paper first analyzes the policy background and natural geographical basis of building Yancheng Coastal Wetland National Park, then analyzes the characteristics of Yancheng Wetland and the necessity of building Yancheng Coastal Wetland National Park, and finally puts forward three measures and suggestions for the construction of Yancheng Coastal Wetland National Park.
