Abstract: From the perspective of the current situation of county economic in Jiangsu, county seats with a certain industrial base and modern agricultural scale are also important forces for economic development. In view of the current situation and existing problems in the development of county urbanization, promoting the coordinated development of townships and county seats is the key to promoting the new urbanization in Jiangsu. Therefore, it is suggested to seize the opportunities of different development stages and promote the coordination of functions between townships and county seats; innovate the concept of county development and solve economic development and social problems as a whole; break administrative divisions and rationally distribute regional service centers within county boundaries.
