Abstract: There is an important institutional link between building a unified national market and promoting the modernization of the industrial and supply chains. Accelerating the construction of a unified national market means not only giving full play to the comparative advantages of the powerful domestic market, promoting the division of labor in the industrial and supply chain and improving its level of division of labor by expanding the market scale, but also building a basic institutional framework and carrier for the smooth operation of the modernization of the industrial and supply chain through this soft and intangible infrastructure construction. The modernization process of the industrial and supply chain is the reconstruction of a country's real economy at the micro level. Its essence is to reshape the intra-product division of labor dominated by China's domestic economy under the new round of economic globalization, and to achieve a high level of self-reliance in the industrial development under the conditions of open economy. Promoting the modernization of the industrial and supply chain can smooth the economic circulation at home and abroad, and accelerate the formation of the physical foundation supporting the operation of the unified national market. The new development pattern of dual circulation, which focuses on the domestic market, puts forward new requirements for the cooperation model between the domestic market and the industrial and supply chain.
