This paper reviews the historical achievements in ecological and environmental protection in China in recent years, and the concept of ecological and environmental governance that has been implemented. Three suggestions are put forward to further promote ecological and environmental governance: First, establish a Chinese ecological and environmental governance model that meets the requirements of Chinese modernization. Second, adhere to the dialectical unity of the speed and pace of ecological and environmental governance. Third, optimize the structure of environmental tax system and improve the transfer payment system of environmental finance.

In the report of the 20th National Congress of CPC, General Secretary Xi Jinping took the implementation of the strategy of rejuvenating China through science and education and strengthening the support of talents in modernization construction as the basic project for realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. This article reveals the significance of education to national rejuvenation by reviewing the history of Chinese education and the history of world development.
