The unified national market is an open, competitive, and orderly market that is established on the basis of policy unity, rule consistency, and implementation coordination. In the process of Chinese path to modernization, building a unified national market is an important strategic goal.


This paper first puts forward two characteristics of the national unified market: turning to domestic market and carry out in-depth integration and cooperation. Next, it is suggested to promote the construction of a unified national market from the following aspects:


First, formulate rules to encourage the free flow of commodity resources.


Second, in the public sphere, local governments are encouraged to carry out in-depth integration and cooperation through agreements to eliminate administrative segmentation in basic public affairs and even infrastructure.


Third, in the field of market competition, we will gradually reduce the unfair competition among enterprises and significantly reduce the side effects of administrative monopoly by implementing the unified anti-monopoly law and anti-unfair competition law.
