The report of the 20th National Congress of CPC put improving the resilience and security level of the industrial and supply chain at an important position in building a new development pattern and promoting high-quality development. As the largest province in manufacturing industry in China, Jiangsu should continue to show its characteristics and responsibilities in maintaining the resilience of the industrial and supply chain, and make overall contributions to the country.
This paper first analyzes the importance of improving the resilience and security level of the industrial and supply chain to Chinese path to modernization, and then analyzes the challenges faced by China's industrial and supply chain from the external environment and the internal environment, as well as what aspects are involved in the impact of these challenges. Finally, the article points out that improving the resilience and security level of the industrial and supply chain is the key to show Jiangsu's responsibility. Jiangsu's industrial chain has advantages all over the country and should take stronger responsibility and more contributions. On the one hand, we should continue to improve internal skills: take clusters as the basic plate for the development of the industrial and supply chain, strengthen the layout of the strategic scientific and technological forces of Jiangsu manufacturing industry, and promote the integrated development of chain owners and enterprises that use special and sophisticated technologies. On the other hand, it is necessary to create features in the construction of internal and external circulation of the industry.
