This article first points out through a large amount of data that the RCEP is conducive to expanding Jiangsu's exports to Japan. Then it analyzes the situation and problems that need to be paid attention to under the situation of increasing uncertainty of the current export situation: 1. The export of other major foreign trade provinces to Japan increased significantly in the first half of the year, and RCEP benefited more industries. 2. There are still blind spots in the application of RCEP rules by enterprises, and the study of high-level terms of RCEP is not systematic enough. Finally, the article puts forward suggestions for Jiangsu on how to seize the opportunity of RCEP's taking effect and promote the high-quality development of foreign trade. The specific measures include: 1. Strengthen statistical monitoring and analysis and data services. 2. Promote the digitalization and green transformation of industrial trade. 3. Smooth the sea, land and air international logistics channel to Japan. 4. Accelerate the cultivation of chain owners in the RCEP regional value chain.
