China's economy is forming a new pattern of development that is focused on the domestic economy, but the domestic circulation exposes instability and vulnerability when it is impacted, resulting in the contraction of demand and weakening of expectations as the prominent contradiction in China's current economy. To this end, the Central Economic Work Conference put forward new requirements for domestic trade.
This paper first analyzes the necessity and urgency of enhancing the endogenous power and reliability of the domestic circulation, then points out that domestic trade is an important part of building a strong domestic market, and puts forward two new requirements for domestic trade:
1. Improve the domestic and foreign trade integration control system, including improving the conversion rate of international standards and accelerating the integration with internationally accepted high-standard economic and trade rules.
2. Domestic trade should comprehensively promote consumption, improve the adaptability of the supply system to demand, promote the formation of a unified market, and optimize the consumption market.
