The Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee adopts the Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Further Deepening Reform and Promoting Chinese Path to Modernization, which proposes to accelerate the construction of institutional mechanism to promote the development of the digital economy, and improve the policy system to promote digital industrialization and industrial digitalization. The 14th Five Year Plan is coming to an end. In order to seize new opportunities for the development of the digital era, Jiangsu should plan in advance, deepen the reform of institutional mechanisms, and strengthen, optimize as well as expand Jiangsu's digital economy facing the 15th Five Year Plan.
This article proposes seven paths for strengthening, optimizing, and expanding the system reform of digital economy in Jiangsu.
1. Improve the institutional mechanism for promoting digital technology innovation and strengthen Jiangsu's digital economy.
2. Improve the institutional mechanism for promoting the deep integration of the real economy and the digital economy, and expand Jiangsu's digital economy.
3. Improve the institutional mechanism for promoting the development of artificial intelligence and renew Jiangsu's digital economy.
4. Improve the institutional mechanism of the data element market and deepen Jiangsu's digital economy.
5. Improve the institutional mechanism for building digital infrastructure and implement Jiangsu's digital economy.
6. Improve the institutional mechanism of digital economy governance and improve Jiangsu's digital economy.
7. Improve the institutional mechanism for coordinated development of the digital economy and optimize Jiangsu's digital economy.
