Abstract: The Yangtze River Economic Belt plays an irreplaceable role in connecting the eastern, central, and western regions, integrating resource elements, and promoting industrial synergy. However, there are still problems such as insufficient regional synergy, homogeneous industrial structure, insufficient technological innovation capabilities, and poor connectivity of transportation infrastructure.Therefore, this article proposes the following policy recommendations to optimize the layout of productivity in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, so as to promote the high-quality regional development.
1. Adhere to the complementary advantages among regions and promote the high-quality development of key industries.
2. Increase the support and guarantee of science and technology, and enhance the ability to transform technological innovation into application.
3. Build a modern three-dimensional transportation network and enhance the support for strategic implementation.
