Abstract: The 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation was held in Beijing. President Xi Jinping proposed the China-Africa Ten Cooperation Plans, providing a grand blueprint for China-Africa cooperation. Jiangsu, as a traditional province with strong cooperation with Africa, has recently lagged far behind provinces such as Zhejiang and Hunan in terms of economic and trade cooperation with Africa. It is suggested to seize the opportunities of China-Africa cooperation, fully leverage the advantages of Jiangsu as a major economic and trade province and manufacturing province, continuously tap into the potential of economic and trade cooperation with Africa, broaden the space for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, achieve high-quality development of economic and trade cooperation with Africa, and build the Jiangsu brand on the African continent. The report points out the problems in Jiangsu's economic and trade cooperation with Africa and puts forward relevant suggestions. At the same time, it is suggested to strongly support the construction of the Jiangsu-Africa Cooperation Think Tank Platform, with the African Studies Institute of Nanjing University at its core, to provide support for Jiangsu's economic and trade cooperation with Africa.
