Abstract: Under the background of ecological civilization construction, building a modern green industry system is the optimal path for Qinghai to adhere to ecological priority and green development. The modern green industry system comprehensively embodies the theory of modern industrial system, the theory of new quality productivity, and the requirements of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought. It is the industrial foundation that supports the high-quality development of Qinghai's economy and has overall significance for China's socialist modernization cause. At present, Qinghai has made certain progress in building a modern green industry system, but there are also certain shortcomings. We need to focus on revitalizing traditional industries and accelerating the layout of emerging and future industries, so as to achieve the ecological transformation of industries and the industrialization of ecology. At the same time, we need to take enterprise gradient cultivation as the starting point, integrating chain development thinking, integrated development thinking, cluster development thinking, and collaborative development thinking into the entire process of building a modern green industry system.
