This article focuses on the research topic of accelerating the formation of new quality productivity in the central urban area, and has formed preliminary research results. Firstly, the central urban area is densely populated and has the most active elements for forming new quality productivity. Secondly, the central urban area has abundant innovative resources and possesses the most crucial driving force for forming new quality productivity. Finally, the central urban area has diverse application scenarios and the most suitable space for forming new quality productivity.
Jianye District is positioned as the modern international city center of Nanjing and is exploring a development path of promoting industrial innovation through technological innovation in the central urban area. This article takes Jianye District as an example and analyzes specific practices which are worth learning from.
To identify the key point and promote the formation of new quality productivity in the central urban area, this article proposes the following suggestions.
1. Promote the deep integration of science, industry, city, and people, and improve the output efficiency of per unit area.
2. Aim at the forefront of strategic technology and strengthen the development capabilities in new tracks and fields.
3. Promote the development of modern urban industries and provide strong support for new industrialization.
4. Give full play to the innovative role of market entities and create abundant high-quality enterprises.
5. Strengthen the creation of an innovation ecosystem and accelerate the formation of new quality production relations.
