The significance of Sino-US trade cannot be overstated. In this article, we analyze the changes in trade between China and the United States, as well as between China and other countries in recent years, using global trade data (CEPII's BACI database) and Chinese customs statistics. By presenting a large amount of data and charts, we have drawn the following conclusions:
1. China's total imports and exports to the United States have significantly increased on the whole.
2. China has developed closer ties with Asian countries as its major trading partners.
3. The United States has seen a rapid rise in trade with Vietnam, India, and Mexico as its major trading partners.
4. There has been significant growth in the import and export volume of mechanical and electrical products.
5. The proportion of imports from each other between China and the United States is gradually decreasing.
6. China's exports to the United States are decreasing, while the United States' exports to China are increasing.
7. The proportion of Southeast Asia in trade between the United States and Asia is increasing.
8. The proportion of South America in trade between China and the Americas is increasing.
9. The trade proportion of Southeast Asian countries in China's trade with East Asia and Southeast Asia is also rising.
10. Asia and South America are on the rise, while North America is on the decline in terms of the trend of trade volume between China and various continents in the world.
