Abstract: Focusing on the core dimension of sense of gain, this paper analyzes the practical manifestations and internal mechanisms of insufficient sense of gain perception in the current process of unified national market construction. Research has found that the lack of coordination between breaking and establishing, polarization of regional factor flows, lagging growth of market size, restrictions on factor flows, differences in regulatory standards, and unequal public services have weakened the true perception of the effectiveness of building a unified national market among the public and enterprises. Based on theories such as institutional economics and behavioral science, a four-dimensional driving mechanism has been proposed, which includes empowering institutional innovation, promoting procedural justice and fairness, enhancing domestic circulation, and optimizing public services. A specific reform path and mechanism have been designed around the basic qualities of socialist market economy system, which are free flow of factors and unified competition rules. The research suggests that only by effectively transforming the dividends of strategy and policies into tangible benefits and convenience for market operators and the public, can we gather consensus on reform and build a public opinion foundation and social momentum for the construction of a unified national market.
