Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, under the leadership of the Party Central Committee with Xi Jinping as the core, China has steadily promoted the construction of the new industrialization. The industrial sector has ushered in a golden period of high-quality development, and a modern industrial system with complete and independent categories has been established, forming the unique advantages of comprehensive, diverse, large, and strong. In 2024, China's industrial added value reached 40.5 trillion yuan, of which the proportion of manufacturing output in the world increased from 20.8% in 2013 to 27.7% in 2024, ranking first globally for 15 consecutive years. Unlike the traditional industrialization, China's new industrialization path is in line with China's national conditions. It is a high-quality industrialization path with innovation as the core driving force, high-end, information-based and green development as important development models, coordinated development as the main feature, and the four modernizations synchronization as the goal. It is an independent, autonomous, peaceful and open industrialization path. Nowadays, China's new industrialization construction is standing at a new and higher starting point, which requires a firmer belief, stronger courage, and more scientific methods to promote its construction. We should find the main attack direction and make precise efforts, including breaking down barriers, establishing systems, strengthening the core, promoting upgrading, and building chains.
