Abstract: The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China emphasized the need to accelerate high-level scientific and technological self-reliance and self-improvement, leading the development of new quality productivity. Firstly, we need to build a robust domestic market and accelerate the establishment of a new development pattern. Secondly, accelerating the development of new quality productivity has become an inherent requirement and important focus for promoting high-quality economic development. The unified national market, as an important platform mechanism for pooling resources, driving growth, stimulating innovation, optimizing division of labor, and promoting competition, will provide strong institutional support and inherent motivation for cultivating and developing new quality productivity in China. Therefore, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to understand the inherent connection between the unified national market and new quality productivity, remove obstacles that restrict their coordinated development, and explore effective practical path for China's high-quality economic development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
