Abstract: Chinese path to modernization is a modernization characterized by harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. Comprehensive land consolidation aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of land use, ensure the sustainable utilization of land resources, and improve the ecological landscape environment. It utilizes a series of means such as land consolidation, land development, land reclamation, and land restoration, focusing on tasks such as agricultural land consolidation, village consolidation, industrial land consolidation, redevelopment of urban low-efficiency land, ecological protection and restoration, and disaster prevention and mitigation. Through comprehensive land consolidation of fields, waterways, roads, forests, villages, and cities, it improves human living and production conditions. Through land spatial consolidation of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, and lakes, it protects human ecological space, ultimately promoting sustainable and coordinated development between humans and nature. Comprehensive land consolidation is a readjustment and optimization of the relationship between humans and nature at different levels and stages of economic and social development, with the goal of achieving harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
