Since the reform and opening up, the rapid growth of industrialization and urbanization, as well as the rapid expansion of construction land, have led to a decreasing amount of remaining undeveloped land space. Also, the ability of land finance to support economic growth is rapidly declining. Relying on the expansion of spatial land at the edge of the city has limited potential. Therefore, it is particularly important to find a path for updating the stock space.
This article proposes that future new driving forces will mainly be in the following directions.
1. Real estate. Some high-quality residential properties are still popular. In addition to the residential properties themselves, it is necessary to improve the surrounding environment from a planning perspective to enhance the residential experience, thereby stimulating consumption and gradually promoting the urban renewal.
2. The urban industrial zone in the main cities. The future urban industrial investment promotion is not solely based on scale, but on efficiency. It relies on the integration of industry and city to promote the mixed land use.
3. Rural areas. To make more effective and sustainable use of space, rural revitalization relies on knowledge-driven approaches. Only through technology can rural areas and agriculture truly achieve modernization transformation.
In summary, in the future, the focus should be on improving spatial quality and efficiency, further reforming institutional constraints that affect spatial quality. Meanwhile, it's important to strengthen the importance of knowledge innovation in spatial transformation. Scholars and scientists can play a more important role in this process.
