On February 17th, General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized at the private enterprise symposium that it is timely for private enterprises and entrepreneurs to show their skill to the full. The private enterprises and entrepreneurs should be full of passion for entrepreneurship, constantly improve the ideal realm, carry forward the entrepreneurial spirit, concentrate on strengthening, optimizing, and expanding enterprises, and firmly become the builders of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the promoters of Chinese path to modernization. It points out the direction for promoting the entrepreneurial spirit in the new era.
The important foundation for the growth of entrepreneurial spirit is a complete institutional environment, including mature market rules and a sound legal base. On the one hand, we should improve market rules and motivate entrepreneurs to pursue excellent products and services, and on the other hand, we should regulate market behavior through laws and regulations, so that the entrepreneurial spirit can be better protected by the rule of law. However, due to the fact that the environment of China's socialist market economy system is still in the process of improvement, there are still some areas that need further improvement in the external environment for the growth of private entrepreneurs.
This article provides suggestions as follows.
1. Improve the institutional mechanism, so as to provide basic guarantees for the long-term development of the private economy, boost the confidence of private entrepreneurs, and solve the problem of unstable expectations.
2. Increase the advanced cultural guidance for private entrepreneurs and effectively enhance their sense of pride.
3. Promote the entrepreneurial spirit and solidly implement policies and measures to promote the development of the private economy.
