Sun Guomin: New Urbanization: Development Evolution, Strategic Thinking and Institutional Supply

Abstract: New urbanization is an important basis for China's regional coordinated development strategy, and is of great significance to China's promotion of high-quality development and the construction of a unified national market. The connotation and characteristics of China's new urbanization evolve with the changes in construction carries, construction content and construction functions at different historical stages, and thus exhibit different development features that adapt to the times. Based on the dynamic adjustment of the interactive relationship between industry and agriculture, this article forms four different urbanization strategies, which are agriculture supporting industry, mutual promotion of industry and agriculture, industry reciprocating agriculture, and integrated urban-rural development, and explains the contemporary value of China's new urbanization development. At last, following the logical thread of characteristic evolution, problem orientation, strategic thinking, and institutional supply, this article presents systematic strategic ideas from the perspectives of macro-morphology and micro-subject. Thus, the specific suggestions for demolition and construction together in institutional supply are proposed to continuously explore the path of new urbanization development through high-quality development practices.
