Abstract: In the digital economy era, the combination of data, computing power, and algorithms forms the digital new quality productivity, driving the accelerated transformation of the technology-economy paradigm. According to the theory of spatial economies, in the digital economy paradigm, the comparative advantage of renewable resources becomes more prominent, the specialization-based externalities of concentration shift to diversification-based externalities, and the connotation of regional integration expands to the integration of data factor markets and computing power layouts. The evolution of these three basic mechanisms acts on the process of digital industrialization and industrial digitalization, and drives the reshaping of industrial layout. From the perspective of digital industrialization, the computing power industry, which is located in the middle of the data value chain, tends to be located in areas with good network connections and low costs of renewable resources that are close to economic agglomeration areas. The algorithms-related industries tend to be located in national or regional center cities. And the digitalization of traditional industries mainly corresponds to the digital empowerment of traditional industries. In the digital economy paradigm, the diversification and regionalization of traditional manufacturing industries layout as well as the decentralization and virtualization of service industries layout become possible. From the practice of the channel computing resources from the east to the west project, the synergistic clustering of digital industrialization and industrial digitalization can help reshape China's flying geese industrial layout which is oriented towards function division. Therefore, it is necessary to coordinate the promotion of digital industrial chains, new digital infrastructure, and digital industrial clusters, optimizing the mode of digital industrial layout.
