General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized at the Private Enterprise Symposium that solidly implementing policies and measures that promote the development of the private economy is the current focus of promoting the development of the private economy. Party committees and governments at all levels should coordinate and implement policies and measures to promote the development of the private economy based on reality, which provides direction for local governments to do a good job in serving the private economy.
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party and the state have introduced a series of milestone policy measures. We always focus on optimizing the business environment, continuously simplifying administrative approval processes, reducing operating costs for enterprises, and creating a fair competitive market environment for the private economy. We continuously pay attention to practical difficulties of private enterprises, such as financing difficulties and overdue payments, so as to alleviate them and solve pain points. We emphasize the promotion of entrepreneurial spirits, enhance the private entrepreneurs’ political sense of belonging and social identity, and stimulate their enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship.
However, there are still some challenges for local governments and departments in implementing policies for the development of the private economy, which should be overcome from the following four aspects.
1. Optimize the formulation of detailed rules and accurately respond to practical needs.
2. Optimize the push method to enhance the policy awareness.
3. Strengthen policy implementation and enhance its effectiveness.
4. Strengthen the collaboration throughout the entire process and enhance the overall effectiveness of implementation.
