Abstract: Intelligent transformation and digital transformation are the main ways and means to promote the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. The digital transformation of China's manufacturing industry faces two major implementation obstacles, namely, integration trap and SME trap. This paper analyzes the basic situation of the digital transformation of 50 lighthouse factories awarded by China, and the experience of Suzhou's manufacturing digital transformation since Suzhou is in the leading position in the country in the work of intelligent transformation and digital transformation, summarizes the decisive factors that affect the implementation of digital transformation of China's manufacturing industry, and on this basis, puts forward specific policy recommendations for accelerating the digital transformation of China's manufacturing industry. This study effectively answers the two major concerns of how entrepreneurs carry out digital transformation and how local governments carry out the cultivation of the entire industrial chain of intelligent transformation and digital transformation. It has very important practical guiding significance for achieving high-quality industrial development in China's dual circulation development pattern.
