Abstract: The role of specialized and sophisticated enterprises in the "integration of manufacturing and services" lies in continuously infusing specialized capabilities into the manufacturing process, gradually embedding dispersed specialized activities into the value creation chain, transforming locally developed experience and methodologies into more stable specialized offerings, and allowing the experience, data, and rules formed through long-term collaboration to gradually solidify into the foundation of industrial operations. The role of specialized and sophisticated enterprises in promoting the "integration of the manufacturing and services" is primarily reflected in four aspects: driving the integration of specialized capabilities into the manufacturing process; deepening collaborative relationships within the manufacturing system; transforming localized experience into specialized supply; and consolidating experience, data, and rules into the foundation for industrial operations. To better leverage the role of specialized and sophisticated enterprises in promoting the "integration of the manufacturing and services", policy efforts must not be limited to general corporate support but should instead focus on the mechanism chain encompassing the integration of specialized capabilities, the deepening of collaborative relationships, the expansion of localized experience, and the consolidation of experience, data, and rules.
