Abstract: The development of a unified national market, underpinned by the transition to "home-based globalization," the empowerment of a super-large market, and the demonstration of high-level institutional openness, will, domestically, inject new momentum into the domestic economy through demand, competition, and division of labor; reshape China's position in the global industrial division of labor; and enhance China's economic and military capabilities as well as its voice in global governance; externally, it will leverage super-large-scale domestic demand to transform into a "world market," becoming a new engine of demand driving global economic growth and propelling the global division of labor from a "center-dominated" model toward a "multi-node-supported" one. This will help alleviate global trade imbalances and the development gap between the North and the South, injecting a stabilizing force into the process of global multipolarization; At the same time, it represents the concrete domestic implementation of the concept of a "community with a shared future for mankind" and a practical means of putting true multilateralism into action, which will inject strong momentum into building an open, inclusive, mutually beneficial, balanced, and win-win economic globalization. Therefore, accelerating the development of a unified national market is not only a key strategic decision made by China based on its own development needs, but also a Chinese solution that empowers global governance and addresses the global development deficit through its own practices.
