The recent meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and the Central Economic Work Conference both proposed to deepen agricultural supply-side structural reform. This means that the central rural work conference may make detailed arrangements on the rural work by centering around supply-side reform. There is hope for breakthroughs in rural financial innovation and reform next year, among which the top highlight is the land system reform. The problem of rural land transfer has once again become a hot issue. In this regard, Yangtze IDEI experts and scholars conducted heated discussions and exchanged their own ideas on issues such as rural land transfer and protection of farmers’ rights.
