The 2017 reforms are in progress, among which the mixed ownership reform of state-owned enterprises led by the Department of Economic System Reform Department of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) will expand the pilot program at the national level this year. Besides, the mixed ownership reform is also being pushed forward at the local level. During the recent two sessions held by provincial governments, many announced that the mixed ownership reform would be implemented for local state-owned enterprises this year, which would undoubtedly increase the space for the “upgrade and expansion” of mixed ownership reforms. In such context, Professor Liu Zhibiao, Dean of Yangtze IDEI, raised the topic “How to Give Play to the Role of Mixed Ownership Reform As an Important Breakthrough of the Reform of State-owned Enterprises”.
