In recent years, the share EAV (economic value added) in China's private economy has been growing continuously, and private enterprises are providing an increasing number of job opportunities. The private economy has become an important element of social construction and the most dynamic part in China’s national economy. However, problems such as high production and operation costs and heavy tax burdens have put enormous strains on the development of the private economy. How to reduce the burdens on the private economy, enhance the confidence of private entrepreneurs and foster new driving forces for innovation and entrepreneurship are important issues currently facing the private economy. In such context, Professor Liu Zhibiao, Dean of Yangtze IDEI, raised the topic “How to Reduce the Burdens on Private Economy” .
