In the current reform and development, we must attach great importance to arousing the initiative of various enterprises, effectively protecting entrepreneurship and creating a favorable environment for entrepreneurs to focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. On February 23, 2017, Li Wei, Director of the Development Research Center of the State Council, delivered a report on the “Nine Major Tasks of Policy Consultation and Research Work in 2017”, one of which is to “protect entrepreneurship and promote private investment”. He also pointed out that the top concern of the private entrepreneurs at present is property rights protection, and the reform of state-owned enterprises also needs to arouse the initiative of the management of state-owned enterprises through institutional design. In this regard, Professor Liu Zhibiao, Dean of Yangtze IDEI, held discussions with relevant entrepreneurs, scholar and experts in various fields on the topic “What Kind of Entrepreneurship Is Needed in the Current Era? How Do We Protect Entrepreneurship and Promote Private Investment?”
