The main problems faced by Jiangsu private manufacturing industry include: low industrial level, overcapacity structure, quite a few production constraints, excessive tax pressure as well as incomplete policy implementation. However, it still has several basic advantages, such as strong manufacturing scale, good industrial agglomeration situation and strong government support. To promote the development of Jiangsu's private manufacturing industry to mid-to-high end, Jiangsu is required to strengthen planning and guidance, increase policy support, overturn the financing "mountain", enhance innovation capabilities, cultivate backbone enterprises and resolve structural excess.
