Release time:2016-09-08Author: Liu Zhibiao

Supply-side structural problems are directly related to a series of problems such as the unsound micro-governance structure of state-owned enterprises, soft budget constraints, and irrational industrial distribution of state-owned enterprises. Promoting state-owned enterprises to carry out mixed-ownership reforms in accordance with the modern enterprise system is an important part of advancing supply-side structural reforms, because state-owned enterprises, as the backbone of stabilizing China’s national economic development, are the main force and forerunner in supply-side structural reforms. At present, many important measures have been taken for the reform of state-owned enterprises in China. However, in the process of exploring and advancing the reform of state-owned enterprises, there are still many problems that need to be explored. The book “Ten Difficult Problems in State-owned Enterprise Reform”, edited by Director Xu Guoping of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Jiangsu Province, and Deputy Director Wang Zhengyu as the chief editor, summarizes the experience and cases in the reform of state-owned enterprises since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The book has both theory and rich cases, and the guidance and readability make it better guide and standardize the reform and development of state-owned enterprises. It is hereby recommended to readers who are in need and interested.
