In important areas such as strengthening the industrial division and coordination, and building the innovation community, Jiangsu should play a greater role in the days to come. Currently, the construction of industrial clusters in the Yangtze River Delta is generally based on administrative boundaries, which means the cooperations are all among cities within one province. Thus, Jiangsu Province should actively promote the joint construction of trans-provincial industrial clusters, promote the integration of the innovation chain and industry chain, and try to carry out joint research on technology in the Yangtze River Delta.
To play the role of an important wing of the Yangtze River Delta well, Jiangsu must achieve the coordinated development within the province, deeply implement the 1+3 key functional area strategy, strongly promote the regional complementarity, cross-river integration, as well as north-south connection within the province, and promote the high-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
