Abstract: The anti-dumping measures are critical trade barriers to China's export, the United States is an important potential country that may conduct anti-dumping investigation against Chinese enterprises in the medium to long term, and the export enterprises are important participants for China to integrate into the international circulation. Thus, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to investigate the effects of US anti-dumping measures on the exports of China's enterprises. Moreover, since different types of enterprises own various abilities in risk aversion, resilience, and dealing with the trade barriers, further research on the impact of anti-dumping measures on different types of enterprises will provide a useful reference for China to formulate a more scientific and reasonable go-out strategy at the enterprise level. Taking the US anti-dumping measures against China as an example, this paper investigates the effects of US anti-dumping measures on the exports of China's enterprises from the micro enterprise view, distinguishing the enterprise heterogeneity from the perspective of size, ownership and location. The empirical findings show that the US anti-dumping measures not only significantly decline the export volume of China's enterprises, but also significantly reduce the export probability. When distinguishing the enterprise heterogeneity, this paper summarizes three conclusions. Firstly, the US anti-dumping measures have more serious negative effects on the export probability of small and micro enterprises than that of large and medium-sized enterprises. Secondly, the inhibitory effects on the export volume of state-owned enterprises are significantly higher than that of private enterprises and foreign enterprises. Thirdly, the inhibitory effects on export volume and export probability are the highest for enterprises located in western region, followed by those located in eastern region and central region.
