A focused topic of the Two Sessions in 2018 was how China would promote deepening reform and opening up in a way that go “beyond expectation” to commemorate the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up. During the Two Sessions, Professor Liu Zhibiao, Dean of Yangtze IDEI, held discussions with relevant experts and scholars for the first time on the topic “My Expectation for ‘Beyond-expectation Reform’ After the Two Sessions”. They exchanged their ideas on their expectations for the two Sessions and China's beyond-expectation reform in the next stage.
