Implementing the rural vitalization strategy is a major decision and arrangement made at the 19th CPC National Congress. The requirement is explicitly proposed in the Report of the 19th CPC National Congress, Central Rural Work Conference, Central No.1 Document and the Report on the Work of the Government. The rural vitalization strategy, as an important task of the CPC’s governance of our country, is currently being solidly implemented at all levels. On March 8, 2018, General Secretary Xi Jinping participated in a panel discussion of Shangdong provincial delegation, during which he highlighted the importance of implementing the rural vitalization strategy, and that we should formulate overall plans and implement the strategy scientifically. Professor Liu Zhibiao, Dean of Yangtze IDEI, recently held discussions with relevant experts and scholars on the topic “How to Promote Rural Vitalization More Effectively”. They exchanged their opinions on the five elements of rural vitalization (industries, talents, culture, ecology and organization), especially rural industrial vitalization.
