The imbalance of China’s regional economic development is due to the choice of economic policy’s regional orientation, as well as the endogenous laws of the economic system. For the large country like China whose regional development is originally in a state of imbalance, joining the global value chain and the way of joining it have an important and profound impact on the coordinated development of the regional economy.Dr. Zhang Shaojun’s book extends the research on the relationship between industrial transfer and regional coordinated development from the perspective of global value chains.
