Building an efficient governance mechanism is an effective approach to achieve high-quality economic integration of the Yangtze River Delta. China’s experience of regional coordination and cooperative development shows that the lack of an efficient governance system is the greatest obstacle to the regional economic integration. To realize the national strategic goals of integration and high-quality development, what type of governance system should we establish?
