The decentralization and huge uncertainties of blockchain technology provide broad space for independent innovation. On October 24, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC held the 18th collective study session on the present situation and trends of the blockchain technology. President Xi Jinping chaired the session during which he emphasized that the integrated application of blockchain technology plays an important part in the new technological innovation and industrial transformation. We should focus on blockchain technology during the independent innovation of core technologies, set clear objectives, increase investment, take efforts to tackle core technical problems, and accelerate the innovative development of the blockchain technology and industrial innovation.
