A manufacturing power is the foundation of China's economic modernization, and it is also China's established strategy that will not waver. At this stage, China's traditional manufacturing industry accounts for more than 80% of the manufacturing industry, and many internationally competitive industries are traditional manufacturing industries. With the economy facing tremendous downward pressure, how to recognize the advantages of traditional industries, and play their role in promoting high-quality development as well as shaping new economic momentum has become a major issue that cannot be avoided in the formulation and implementation of economic policies. The Think Tank Roundtable of Yangtze River Industrial Economic Research Institute discussed the topics of how to understand China's traditional industries and how to make use of the advantages of traditional industries at this stage.
