During the 13rd Jiangsu Party Congress, Li Qiang, Secretary of the provincial Party committee, put forward "four questions on innovation" when attending the deliberation of the Suzhou delegation. He required Suzhou to think about four questions: 1. How can Suzhou play a leading role in the innovation pattern of the whole province? 2. How to pursue original achievements in promoting independent innovation? 3. On the basis of comprehensively improving the innovation level, how to create landmark brands? 4. In the creation of innovation ecosystem, how to better reflect the openness and inclusiveness of Suzhou?These four problems have strong pertinence. They hit the weakness of Jiangsu's strategy of taking the lead in building an innovation-driven Province, and will play a fundamental role in promoting the direction of Jiangsu’s strategy of developing innovative economy. The answers to these four questions are important for the innovation-driven development of Suzhou and Jiangsu, which will be shown in practice in the future. This paper discusses this topic briefly.
