The construction of a low-carbon city involves fundamental changes in ways of thinking, production, lifestyle, and consumption. Zhenjiang has the courage to pioneer and try, and is good at innovation and exploration. Carbon pilots and ecological civilization construction are integrated and developed, and new paths for urban transformation and development are explored with “four carbon innovations”. The first is to promote industrial carbon transformation; the second is to strengthen corporate carbon management; the third is to initiate project carbon assessment; the fourth is to practice regional carbon assessment.Through low-carbon development, Zhenjiang has realized the transformation of urban development and has found a green and low-carbon road for the coordinated development of economy, resources and environment.
