At present, we are in the period in which the timeframes of the Two Centenary Goals converge. Not only must we finish building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and achieve the First Centenary Goal; we must also build on this achievement to embark on a new journey towards the Second Centenary Goal of fully building a modern socialist country. In such a critical period, it is very important to correctly understand the process of socialist modernization. This requires an in-depth study of the path of socialist modernization. Here are some thoughts on it. On the basis of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, economically developed regions can take the lead in starting the process of basically realizing socialist modernization, paving the way for fully building a modern socialist country. The path of modernization in different regions should be adapted to local conditions and should not be the same.
