The report of the 19th CPC National Congress pointed out that China’s economy has shifted from rapid growth to high-quality development. In order to build a modernized economic system, we must put quality first, give priority to performance and promote quality reform of economic development. The 2018 Central Economic Work Conference is a concrete implementation of the requirements put forward in the report of the 19th CPC National Congress. The theme-word of the conference is "developing high-quality economy". According to the definition of People's Daily, the so-called high-quality development refers to the development that can well meet people's growing needs for a better life and reflect the development of the new development concept. We should make innovation become the first driving force, coordination become the endogenous feature, green development become the universal form, openness become the only way, and sharing become the fundamental goal. This further points out the basic feature of China's economic development entering a new era, which is turning to high-quality development.
