On January 12th, 2018, forum of main leaders in the Yangtze River Delta was held in Suzhou. Party secretaries and mayors of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui attended the forum and held an in-depth discussion on the construction of urban agglomeration in the Yangtze River Delta and the deepening of the regional cooperation mechanism. At the forum, the three provinces and one city reached a consensus, which is to build a world-class urban agglomeration jointly guided by innovation. After more than 20 years of development, the integration of the Yangtze River Delta will usher in a key development point and make a major breakthrough. The third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee proposed to "build a unified and open market system with orderly competition", which is "the basis for the market to play a decisive role in the allocation of resources". The micro foundation, basic strategic thinking and strategic goal of the regional integrated development are to promote the construction of regional market construction with unified, open, competitive and orderly goal, and it especially has direct theoretical and practical guiding significance for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta with relatively good market development foundation.
