In the past 40 years of reform and opening up, China's successful experience can be summarized as “reform and opening up”. Reform means transforming the planned economy into the socialist market economy. Opening-up means actively participating in globalization and achieving development in the process of expanding opening up.At present, China's opening up to the outside world has undergone a historic turning point, which is characterized by the fact that China is changing from a participant in globalization to a promoter.China's development has greatly changed the pattern of the world, and China has become an important force in promoting globalization. China offers possible choices for other developing countries to not only participate in globalization, but also maintain their own independent development mode. The rise of China has made greater balance in global power configuration. China's proposals, including the Belt and Road Initiative, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the BRICS Summit, the CICA Summit, and so on, are all public goods for the world, contributing to improving the global economic governance system. The theory of "a community with a shared future for mankind" and the basic principle of “extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits” proposed by China have contributed advanced ideas, Chinese wisdom and China’s proposals to the global economic governance system.
